Pleasant Enterprise is a privately-owned company deeply rooted in family and community. Founded in 1995 in Philadelphia by Bobby Nix, CEO and President, Pleasant Enterprise began as an airport concessionaire in the Philadelphia Airport. Today, the company has grown into a multi-level operator of retail stores, quick-serve restaurants and distribution operations. Pleasant Enterprise is in 15 airports across the nation. At Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, Pleasant Enterprise operates Pleasant News @ DCA. Located in Terminal A, Pleasant News @ DCA consists of three quick‑serve restaurants: Boar’s Head Deli, Custom Burgers and Tagliare Pizza. Outside of airports, Pleasant Enterprise owns and operates Pleasant Blends, high‑end coffee kiosks located in Center City Philadelphia. In the Philadelphia International Airport, Pleasant Enterprise has joint‑venture agreements with two international multi‑million dollar retailers operating notable retail stores such as Brooks Brothers, Pandora, CNBC Today Show, MAC and Duty Free. The company has three additional joint‑venture agreements in the Albany, Providence, and Wichita airports. In addition, the company is involved in the distribution of Kars Nuts Snacks in 13 airports across the country. Or, as we call it, “The Pleasant Way.” Our mission statement is encapsulated in the phrase shared with our guests at the completion of each transaction, “Have a Pleasant Day!” Job Duties The Quick‑Serve Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the day‑to‑day operations of all Pleasant News at DCA (PNI) airport quick‑serve restaurant (QSR) operations, located in Reagan National Airport, Arlington, VA. The supervisor must be knowledgeable of and able to perform the duties of all staff positions and will assist the GM and AGM with recruiting, training, coaching, developing and providing leadership to the team. The supervisor must model the “Pleasant Way” by providing exceptional customer service and always exhibiting a pleasant and professional demeanor to internal and external customers. Required Skills A minimum of 2‑years of previous restaurant, fast‑food or equivalent background A minimum of 1‑year supervisory experience Available to work holidays and weekends Dependable & reliable Excellent work ethic (follow and up‑hold the “Pleasant News way” of conducting oneself) Strong and positive people, communication and presentation skills High School diploma or equivalency required; college degree preferred Basic math skills Compensation Salary only $44,000 - $48,000 Annually (Salary) based on experience Benefits Benefits available Full‑time position Shift schedule: 4AM to 1PM; 1PM to 10PM #J-18808-Ljbffr Pleasant News at DCA, LLC
