Job Description

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining plants, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and landscaped areas around the clubhouse, club entrance, and selected golf course locations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Previous landscaping or golf course experience preferred
• Experience with irrigation systems and landscape lighting, including installation of timers, drip lines, valves, manifolds, transformers, and fixtures preferred

Licenses

• Valid state driver’s license required

Physical Requirements

This role includes both indoor and outdoor work and may involve exposure to changing weather, loud noises, vibrations, fumes, airborne particles, grease, oil, and chemicals.

The position requires active physical work, including:

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 50+ pounds
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and stooping for extended periods
• Driving and operating landscaping and golf course equipment

Must be able to maintain clear close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Safety equipment such as eye and ear protection may be required. Limited public interaction is expected.

Knowledge & Skills

• Understand proper handling of fertilizers, soil amendments, and chemicals
• Knowledge of landscaping and golf course maintenance tools, materials, methods, and safety procedures
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines
• Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and members
• Complete reports and required forms accurately

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain all landscaped areas and flower beds to ensure an attractive appearance
• Prepare soil and planting beds, seed or transplant materials as needed
• Plant, water, fertilize, prune, trim, and manage pest control for flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Operate landscaping and golf course maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Use mowers, trimmers, power and hand tools, sprayers, spreaders, hoses, and safety equipment
• Perform landscaping and golf course maintenance tasks as assigned
• Assist with additional maintenance duties and other responsibilities directed by management

Additional Duties

• Assist with minor construction projects as needed
• Perform other related duties assigned by management

Schedule & Benefits
