Maintenance Technician II

Job Description Come join our outstanding Team as a Maintenance Technician 2 at the Stonewater Cove Resort, a luxurious 38-unit property on Table Rock Lake in the beautiful hills of the Missouri Ozarks! Our property is located on nearly 500 acres of hills, forest and lakefront. It is the perfect location for outdoor adventures with zip-lines, ATV trails, fishing, and boating available. You'll be working alongside approximately 60 fellow Team Members who are dedicated to providing memorable vacation experiences to our Owners and Guests- we can't wait for you to join us! What will I be doing? You would maintain the guestrooms, public spaces, and back of the house areas. Your primary focus would be on guest relations and problem resolution, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property. You would work well with customers and staff members and perform tasks to the highest standards.
- Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, and knockdown.
- Interacts with guest for problem resolution. Basic appliance troubleshooting and repair Basic air-conditioning controls Intermediate skills in drywall, painting/staining and wall vinyl repairs.
- Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning. Change Filters
- Maintain all guestroom and public space equipment Replace Caulk Tile/Grout Door repair to include locking mechanisms and hinges. Inspects rooms for pest intrusion Inspects and replaces cosmetic appliance components
- Replace light bulbs and ballasts Repair closet/drapery tracks, replacement of furniture Stain furniture and repair knicks and gouges. Replace remote control batteries Unclog toilets and sinks.
- Implement planned scheduled preventative maintenance Replaces faulty plumbing components. Maintain accurate functioning of all equipment and tools.
- Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership. Assist other maintenance staff on special projects. Responding to all guest requests to ensure client happiness; willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate.
- Accurate documentation in English is necessary for maintaining logs and inspection sheets.
- Ensures that every interaction with an owner/guest/team member is positive and memorable.
- Troubleshoot and repair home appliances
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance
- Able to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet. Can push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, and reach overhead.
- 3-5 years or more of related experience
