Resident Care Assistant (RCA) – Assisted Living

Canton Christian Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our Assisted Living team. We are a nonprofit, 5-Star senior care community that has proudly served residents for more than 50 years. Responsibilities include: Assisting residents with daily living activities and personal care Responding promptly to resident needs and call lights Supporting residents’ comfort, safety, independence, and dignity Providing companionship and emotional support Reporting changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse Following care plans, safety procedures, and facility policies Maintaining accurate documentation Working cooperatively with residents, families, and team members Qualifications: Caring, dependable, and professional Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous caregiving experience preferred, but training may be provided Able to meet the physical requirements of the position Must pass all required background checks and health screenings Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, attendance bonus opportunities, pickup pay, benefits for eligible employees, paid time off, and a supportive work environment.
