Operations Specialist

Description This role supports operations within LPL Financial, specifically focused on processing incoming check deposits. The team handles physical checks, remote deposits, and branch deposits. While some processing is automated through straight‑through processing systems, there remains a significant volume of manual review and entry. Daily Responsibilities Processing and inputting high volumes of check deposit data Reviewing checks for accuracy and completeness Ensuring funds are applied to correct accounts Handling exceptions or items not processed by automation Managing workload fluctuations due to external factors (mail delays, holidays, volume spikes) Skills Customer service, Customer support, Data Entry Additional Skills & Qualifications Financial services experience SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) certification Customer service experience Experience working in high‑volume processing environments Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Mill, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
