We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented  Insurance Verification & Claims Specialist to support our billing and administrative team. This position is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, following up on submitted claims, and providing general clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify patients' insurance eligibility and coverage.
• Contact insurance carriers to check the status of submitted claims.
• Follow up on outstanding claims to assist with timely resolution.
• Document claim status updates accurately and maintain organized records.
• Perform data entry and other general clerical and administrative duties.
• Answer phones and assist with customer and internal inquiries as needed.
• Support the office team with additional administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with insurance verification, medical billing, claims follow-up, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
