RN-Registered Nurse // Med Surg / Telemetry $1,246 weekly stipends $16 - $17/hour $576.0 - $612 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 9/28/2026 13 weeks Share on Job Description Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Location: Concord North Carolina 28025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information: 7p - 7a Clinical Interviewing- Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises About Facility: 457 licensed beds Trauma Level III Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center of Excellence Bariatric Center of Excellence Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Department Information: Beds: 10 Avg Daily Census – 8 patients Minimum Years of Experience required: 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience Will you accept a first-time traveler: Not preferred, will consider Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Chest Pain, Syncope, Angina Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team requirement) Ratios: RN: 1:5

Skills required: General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF Support within the Department: Supervisor Charge RN – may or may not have patients Resource RN – will assist with Admissions/Discharges RT, 24/7 – not dedicated to this unit specifically Hospitalist, 24/7 - not dedicated to this unit specifically Phlebotomy: Combined effort between RNs, IV team IV/VAT Team Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC IV Pumps: Alaris Med Dispensing: Omnicell Floating: Travel nurses will be first to float to other nursing units and provide flexible staffing support based on patient care needs and staffing demands. They will demonstrate adaptability and clinical flexibility when floating to other units.
