Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in the wholesale wood distribution sector. This role involves handling lumber and wood products for major retailers and hardware stores.

Responsibilities

• Label and scan products and store them in appropriate locations.
• Identify, pull, and wrap the correct products according to customer orders.
• Perform banding, strapping, and wrapping of materials, including wood products, for shipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport equipment.
• Handle returns by completing required documentation and communications.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly throughout the day.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and bending.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
• Proactive problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.
• Ability to properly use and maintain warehouse equipment.

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors and involves a 12-hour shift from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Employees will enjoy three paid breaks at 10 AM, 3 PM, and 5 PM. The work involves using equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty, NC.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
