Job Summary Responsible for answering all incoming callsregardingroom status andguests’requests. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Must process proper telephone and 2-way radio etiquette and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once. Works closely with Room Inventory clerks and properly dispatches errands per guest requests. Coordinates and assign rooms for cleaning and continuously monitor and update room status. Maybe assigned toassistwith receiving and distributing found property from hotel guestrooms. Assignment includes accurately logging entries intologbookand properly placing found property in designated storage locations. Verifying room status, updating the status of departing rooms, and recording \"Do Not Disturb\" rooms. Scheduling staff based on occupancy levels and PTOs. Communicating with the front office and floor managers to verify room status Coordinating the efforts of housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry Maintains Files of housekeeping assignments MaintainsDispatch area organized and sanitized. Delegate guestrequeststo the supervisors,inspectorand management based on level of priority. MaintainEmployee Call Out Log Ensure the pass down is completed for shift change Additional duties as assigned. What You Will Need HS diploma or GED. Casino/Hotelexperiencepreferred. Experience within an upscale hotel preferred. Work requires a minimum of 6months’experience. Prior experience as a Room Attendantpreferred but notrequired. Must have schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, holidayshiftsand overtime, as needed. Ability to plan, organize, and complete work; take initiative logically and independently. Mustbe able to get along well withco-workers. Possess well-developed interpersonal skills Mustpossessgood written and verbal communication skills and be able to read, write fluently in English Previouscomputer and customer service experience is preferred. Receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff. Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergency situations. Ability to uphold anddemonstratethe highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Wage: $17.25 per hour ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to bend, stoop or kneel; climb, ascend and descend stairs;maintainequilibrium for an extendedperiod. Work requiresabilityto work from a standing position for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry upwards to 25 pounds. Mustbeself-motivatedandabletohandlemorethanonefunctionat atimebybeingwellorganized. Handlesensitivesituationsrelatingtostaffandguestproblems,inatimelymanner Read, write, speak, and understand English. Operate inmentallyand physically stressful situations.
