As a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead complex engineering projects that drive innovation and deliver advanced technological solutions within the aerospace sector. You will be instrumental in managing project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality aerospace products and systems.

You will report directly to our engineering leadership and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

In this role, you will impact the development and advancement of aerospace technologies that enhance aircraft performance, safety, and efficiency, contributing to Honeywell's position as a global leader in aerospace innovation.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage advanced aerospace engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive project success and resolve technical challenges.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• 8 plus years of aerospace engineering experience with significant project leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience managing complex aerospace engineering projects with successful delivery outcomes.
• Experience working with global or distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including executive-level status reporting.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in project planning tools and software, risk management, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Familiarity with aerospace systems design, integration, and testing processes.
• Basic knowledge about Python programming language, Test stand test suite.
• Advanced knowledge about the ATP tester and test solution development.
• Basic knowledge about supporting factory production support.
