Operations Manager – HVAC / Building Automation Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations within a commercial HVAC and building automation environment. This role is responsible for overseeing service and project execution, supporting field teams, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage people, prioritize workload, and keep both service and project operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee daily service and project activity across the team Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time Lead, mentor, and develop field and technical teams Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and reliability Project & Service Execution Support delivery of installation, service, and retrofit work Help resolve operational or technical issues impacting timelines Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution Customer Support Build and maintain strong client relationships Address escalations and ensure overall service quality Support customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships Performance & Process Improvement Monitor productivity and operational performance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflows Help standardize processes across service and project work Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a strong safety culture Ensure compliance with company and job site requirements Qualifications Experience in HVAC, mechanical services, building automation, or a related field Leadership experience managing teams, projects, or field operations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills with both internal teams and customers Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience in building automation or controls environments Exposure to service operations, project coordination, or commissioning Experience in commercial or industrial settings #J-18808-Ljbffr True Find Staffing
