Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a respected Omaha law firm to hire a skilled Legal Assistant who can provide strong administrative and litigation support. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys managing schedules, legal documentation, and case files.


Position Details:

• Type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Up to $60,000 Salary

Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide litigation support to attorneys handling corporate law cases
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, court dates, and appointments
• Maintain organized legal files and proper document filing systems
• Prepare and format legal documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Assist with litigation documentation and case preparation
• Perform clerical duties, document management, and data entry
• Ensure accurate case records and organized filing systems
• Track important deadlines and maintain attorney schedules
• Provide general administrative support for the legal team
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking for in a Legal Assistant:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal preferred
• At least 3 years of litigation experience required
• Strong knowledge of legal filing procedures and clerical office operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience with calendar management and appointment scheduling
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a legal environment
