Position Overview

We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, specializing in Cardiac Surgery. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.

Shift Information

This position requires flexible availability with shifts varying during the day, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac care to surgical patients and those undergoing procedural sedation.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver nursing care to patients both being discharged and those admitted to the hospital.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unencumbered RN license from the state of Oregon.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required.
• AHA ACLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is required.
• One (1) year of experience as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room or completion of an approved pre-operative nursing training program is needed.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Surgery OR (CVOR/Open Heart) environment is mandatory.
• Experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical/surgical acute care setting is preferred.
• Previous scrubbing experience is preferred.
