Overview Job Summary: HCA Healthcare Pathology Services – North Texas Division is seeking a Board-Certified AP/CP Pathologist. This role is based at Medical City Plano, a leading tertiary-care hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Specialization Pathology Anatomic and Clinical Position Highlights Manage a diverse general surgical pathology caseload, with emphasis on women’s health and surgical oncologic pathology Collaborate with a dynamic, collegial team of pathologists, clinicians, and laboratory staff Opportunity to shape quality programs, workflow, and clinical integration Pathology Volumes/Cases The practice consists of 4 full-time pathologists and adding 5th for PTO/case volumes Case volumes: 13k annual at Plano (2700 at Frisco) - the two sites are combined with 1 pathologist weekly rotating at Frisco Qualifications AP/CP Board Certification required Strong general surgical pathology skills with expertise in women’s health and oncologic pathology, ideally with 3-5 years post-training experience Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Must have, or be eligible for, a Texas medical license Incentive/Benefits Package Competitive compensation package including annual profit-sharing bonus Excellent benefits package including CME allowance, health and 401k Relocation assistance provided Malpractice insurance provided About HCA Healthcare Pathology Services HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients.
