Work Environment

You will primarily deliver care in a home setting, which allows you to connect with patients in a familiar and comfortable environment. Your work week will generally run from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM , providing you with a routine that balances professional responsibilities with personal time. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments to evaluate physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement tailored physical therapy plans that focus on recovery goals, adjusting them as necessary based on patient progress.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions that include hands-on treatment methodologies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education on mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and notes while complying with all regulatory standards and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, fostering an environment of support and encouragement throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. By providing hands-on care and empathetic support in their home environment, you will play an integral role in their rehabilitation process. Your ability to connect with patients on a personal level is essential in motivating them and maximizing their engagement in recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• Current and valid California Physical Therapist license, in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in the outpatient or home care settings.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, specifically elderly and postoperative individuals.
• Supportive communication skills that foster patient trust and encourage active participation in rehabilitation efforts.
• Knowledge of current best practices and therapeutic modalities within physical therapy to recognize and implement effective interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is between USD 110,000 – 125,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer:
