The group home program provides services to mentally ill adults who may also have a developmental disability.Schedule: Part-time; 24 hoursSalary: $35.00/hr to $40.00/hr.Competencies:The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge about the role of psyche medication in treating disorders, demonstrates understanding of the effects of stressful life events including abuse and/or trauma; involved in all aspects of treatment planning; ability to identify and provide advocacy; ability to provide support while setting clear limits.Responsibilities:Observe consumers, collect data, and create graphs to measure progress or lack thereofCreate, write and monitor appropriate Behavior Plans for individualsConduct training in Behavior Management for new employeesTrain staff to implement each Behavior PlanReview effectiveness of all plans on a weekly basisBe familiar with Crisis InterventionBe available for consultation in emergency situationsAttend Behavior Intervention Committee meetings and Quality Treatment Review meetings as neededAttend treatment team meetingsTravel throughout New Jersey and the tri-state area as neededBe flexible to adjust schedule as needed based on program needsComplete all other tasks that contributes to the success of the adult mental health residential programs as neededBenefits:Competitive salaryMedical and dental insuranceVision planRetirement planFlexible spending plansEXCELLENT time benefitsOpportunity for personal and career growthTeam oriented environment – we practice the FISH!
