Job Description We have a great client looking for a Pharmacy Technician in Upland, CA!
This is an onsite, 6-month contract to hire opportunity offering a starting pay rate of $27.13/hour. This opportunity comes with the likeliness of an extension or direct conversion! This position requires a background check and drug screen prior to starting. Job SummaryThis role supports the preparation and sterile compounding of intravenous and injectable medications in our outpatient oncology infusion setting and this includes chemotherapy and other hazardous drugs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Medication preparation
- Compounding and related IV room activities in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards
- Institutional policies and procedures and applicable safety guidelines.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Calirofnia.
- Must have hospital or inpatient clinic setting experience.
