Quality Control Specialist
United States Pay: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to inspect and test products throughout the manufacturing and assembly process. This role involves working closely with production teams to ensure products meet quality standards, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to inspect and test products throughout the manufacturing and assembly process. This role involves working closely with production teams to ensure products meet quality standards, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires adherence to safety regulations, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks
- Inspect products and materials throughout the production process to identify defects, inconsistencies, or process issues
- Conduct tests and document quality assurance activities, creating audit reports
- Collaborate with the Production Control Specialist on quality standards and safety regulation compliance
- Track defects, trends, and recurring issues to support quality monitoring and reporting
- Make recommendations for process and product improvements based on inspection and testing results
- Address quality concerns and discuss solutions with supervisors
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production teams
- Ensure company quality standards and safety regulations are followed
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous experience as a Quality Assurance/Control Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of production processes in a related industry (preferred)
- Working knowledge of quality assurance tools, methods, and concepts
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and reporting systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data collection, reporting, and analysis skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant QA/QC certifications or training (preferred)
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry standards
- Prior experience with process testing and defect tracking
- Quality assurance testing tools (implied)
- Microsoft Office suite
- Reporting and documentation systems
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
