- Partner closely with UI/UX designers to build tooling that enables Android prototyping and development.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between design and engineering teams.
- Translate technical concepts and challenges into language understandable by designers, product managers, and other non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to scalable UI patterns and design system initiatives.
- 7-10+ years Android engineering experience.
- Lead-level capabilities desired.
- Strong Android Development Experience
- Expert-level Android SDK knowledge.
- Experience building Android UI solutions.
- UI Framework Expertise
- Must have experience with both:
- Jetpack Compose
- Traditional XML-based Android Views
- Design Systems Experience
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, or enabling design systems.
- Experience creating tooling/platforms that support designers and engineers.
- Familiarity alone is not sufficient.
- Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Android animation expertise and best practices.
- Strong UX/design mindset.
- Familiarity with AI tools and agentic workflows.
- Experience working in highly collaborative design-engineering environments. xhyhwjd
- Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
