Process Engineer

Responsibilities Partner & enable line leader(s) to deliver SQCDSM targets—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale—for the lines, ensuring process stability; participate in the DMS—Daily Management Systems—meetings at the shift and line level. Own the technology and process, centerline settings for equipment, and maintain deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; manage Progressive Maintenance systems, KPIs, and Centerline Management systems; oversee the repairs & maintenance budget. Develop, own, and execute the line(s) preventive and time‑based maintenance systems and plans; build the team’s capability to execute them; spend at least 50% of time developing the technicians’ technical and maintenance skills; lead PM systems and work processes at the line and, at times, department level. Partner with the Asset and Reliability team to improve systems and execute special maintenance tasks; manage change on the line(s), localize spares, perform breakdown analysis, and reduce R&M costs; represent the line(s) as the site technology owner in regional and global technology forums. Assist in VSU for new initiatives; enable the VSU team; help the line leader benchmark internally and externally; act as the subject‑matter expert for one component category and train the plant on PM‑related subjects. Qualifications Advanced knowledge and skill to maintain dedicated equipment independently under AM (step 4 systems) and PM (BD‑Breakdown & planned maintenance) standards, including TPM phase 3 & 4 problem‑solving tools. Capability to lead a line: qualify and coach next‑level SWP owners and drive improvement opportunities across the line using PDCA. Capacity to serve as Line Leader: develop and align goal/master plan, deploy and manage IDP for members, coach team members on performance and career development. Previous experience leading, motivating and engaging teams. Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma Work Systems. Knowledge of Measurement Methods and Statistical Analysis. Previous project management experience. Experience in production, process or continuous improvement within food manufacturing. Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulations and requirements. Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree (required)—Engineering preferred. Job‑Specific Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant process experience. Ability to challenge the status quo and work collaboratively across functions. Ability to work independently and deliver critical results. Travel Requirements None. Work Schedule Flexible shift timings. Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700, varying by experience, skills, education, and location. Eligibility for a highly competitive bonus program based on performance and company results.
