Pay: $35-$45 per hour Modern Auto Company - a Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealership - is looking for a fully trained and certified Diesel Technician to join our service team. If you have experience working on Duramax diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks and want steady work in a well-equipped shop, we'd like to talk with you. Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, including GM Duramax platforms
- Perform engine, fuel system, turbocharger, emissions, and drivability repairs
- Use GM factory diagnostic tools and service information
- Troubleshoot complex diesel performance and electrical concerns
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Document work performed and communicate with service advisors
- Follow all GM procedures and safety guidelines
- Certified diesel technician (ASE and/or GM certification preferred)
- Proven experience with diesel diagnostics and repair
- Experience with Duramax engines strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
