Position Overview The Lead Warehouse Associate helps to achieve world-class branch performance while contributing to and supporting the overall branch strategy, performance, and growth. They lead by example to organize product for deliveries to job sites and help maintain the overall organization of the branch. What you’ll do: Process customer orders and provide technical advice Pull orders and prepares loads for delivery to customer Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks Maintain a safe working environment Receive purchase orders and transfers and receives inter-company transfers Process outgoing shipments of products via UPS or other delivery methods Document and resolve discrepancies related to transfers and purchase orders Stock product in correct warehouse location Replenish or move product at the branch as directed Assist customers with product selection and provide additional support when needed Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance May coach and lead other associates to acheive daily goals and utilize best practices Other duties as assigned Skills We Are Seeking Minimum of 1-3 years of warehouse, order fulfillment or stocking experience Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and maneuver packages that may weigh greater than 50lbs (i.e. bags of fertilizer, weed control products, or ice melt) Forklift and loading experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working Landscaping or turf care product knowledge is helpful, but not required Compensation & Benefits SiteOne offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support the well-being of our associates.
