Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends required per scheduling needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Manage post-operative care including orthopedic trauma patients
• Perform blood administration in accordance with facility protocols
• Oversee wound vac management for assigned patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5–6 and adhere to unit-specific care standards
• May be expected to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Background in orthopedic trauma or post-operative care settings
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment
