Locum Physician - Radiology (Remote Overnight Coverage) We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician in Radiology to interpret XR, CT, MR, and US modalities, primarily handling urgent ER, inpatient, and high‑priority cases. The role provides continuous coverage from Monday through Friday for overnight shifts with a high volume of 90‑100 cases per 8‑hour shift (~70 wRVUs). Responsibilities Interpret urgent ER, inpatient, and high‑priority imaging studies including XR, CT, MR, and US. Generate and submit accurate, timely reports for a high‑volume caseload (90‑100 studies per shift). Work independently in a remote environment, ensuring continuous coverage and quality patient care. Maintain compliance with credentialing and quality assurance processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Medical Degree (MD or DO) with Board Certification in Radiology. Valid State Medical License or eligibility to obtain one. Proven experience in ER, inpatient, and urgent imaging interpretation. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Strong understanding of XR, CT, MR, and US modalities. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Nice to Have Skills Subspecialty expertise in MSK or Neuro radiology. Previous experience in high‑volume hospital or ER settings. Familiarity with teleradiology platforms. Bilingual abilities. Preferred Education and Experience Completion of radiology residency and fellowship (if applicable). Minimum of 2 years of post‑residency radiology practice, preferably in an emergency or inpatient setting. Prior remote or teleradiology experience. Other Requirements Availability for overnight shifts Monday through Friday. Inclusion of malpractice coverage in compensation package. Ability to interpret a high volume of cases efficiently. Willingness to undergo credentialing and compliance procedures. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate of $19.50 with weekly direct‑deposit pay. Full‑time W‑2 employment includes comprehensive medical benefits, licensing support, and travel reimbursements where applicable.
