Lead Maintenance Technician - Tampa, FL

Lead Maintenance Technician Location: Tampa, FL. Job Overview: The Maintenance Technician will perform tasks involving physical labor on jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor. Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management. Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches. Load and unload supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment. Qualifications 1 year verifiable experience preferred. Ability to climb and maintain balance on a ladder. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions. Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly. Strong work ethic and desire to learn. Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
