Assistant Manager - Concessions Job Description

Wage : $16/hour + tips ($2-3 additional pay per hour)

Shift : Full-time. Includes Saturdays and holidays. Closed Sundays.

Responsibilities :

• Assist guests with concession purchases, including operating the register and handling cash
• Prepare and deliver orders accurately, efficiently, and with a positive attitude
• Maintain a friendly, upbeat, and patient approach with guests and team members
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Follow guidance and direction from supervisors
• Close locations as assigned based on shift schedules
• Complete daily preparation tasks
• Manage and update inventory and stocking lists
• Support team motivation by assigning tasks and ensuring follow-through
• Review and complete closing checklists with team members
• Oversee operations across three concession locations
• Demonstrate Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values, and Policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements :

• Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Self-driven, reliable, organized, and punctual
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs
• Kind, patient, and collaborative with guests and coworkers
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
• Professional and clean appearance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
• Valid Food Handler's Permit
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a background check
