We are currently seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team in the Cincinnati office of the Rental Division that is responsible for the health of Messer's owned equipment. What Will You Do: Manages the entire parts inventory, including sourcing, purchasing and stocking of parts to support Messer's owned equipment fleet Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality parts at competitive prices Coordinate with service technicians to meet operational needs Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete parts Negotiate pricing and develop sourcing agreements with suppliers to maximize cost efficiency and availability Issue purchase orders and approve corresponding invoices Develop and institute inventory metrics Manage small tool repairs and warranty Manage bulk systems - water barriers, temporary fencing, cones and rails What You Will Bring: 3-5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management construction, rental equipment distributor, or related field Knowledge of construction equipment, supplies and materials preferred Messer Construction Co. does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
