Desired Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapy license in Texas.
• Experience providing PT services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists.
• Adaptability and creativity to tailor interventions to individual student needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify physical needs impacting educational performance.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs.
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and specialized settings.
• Track progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with educational teams to integrate physical therapy goals within academic programs.
• Offer training for staff and recommendations for adaptive equipment or strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, fostering strong partnerships with families and team members.
