About the Role:

Join Universal Dentistry as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. We are excited to welcome a dedicated individual to our team in Abington, PA, who shares our passion for patient care and excellence.

Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for patient use.

Must be X-ray Certified

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.

Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification.

1-2 years of experience in a dental assisting role is a plus.

Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments.

X-ray certification in Pennsylvania

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Proficient in dental software Dentrix.

Must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
