Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing nursing care to women and their newborns during labor and birth. The role involves working within a unit with 10 Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR) rooms and 2 OB Emergency Department (OBED) spaces, with a staff comprising of 24 RNs. The nurse will ensure optimal patient care and professional practices are delivered in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal health using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
• Assist in Cesarean sections and BTL/Salpingectomies.

Requirements:

• Current Intermediate Fetal monitoring certification.
• ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications.
• Experience as an O.R. Circulator.
