Senior Delivery/Procurement Expert Within our Global Procurement department – Materials, Manufacturing & CAPEX (MMC) Network – we are seeking a Senior Delivery/Procurement Expert to support the procurement of engineering, planning, civil engineering, architecture, MEP design, construction management, general contracting, and related services for a Green‑field capital project at a new drug product manufacturing site in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The role requires onsite presence at the Holly Springs location and close collaboration with Americas Engineering Delivery Managers, local and regional suppliers, and Pharma Technical Engineering project teams. Responsibilities Lead and execute procurement activities across engineering, planning, building construction, production systems, CQV services, process equipment, and automation services. Advisory on capital investment execution models, commercial strategies, and contracting forms. Develop and enforce a supplier governance framework with key vendors, aligning with Lean Methodologies. Conduct supplier and bidder discussions, negotiate work contracts, and manage commercial issues including claims. Proactively identify and implement sourcing strategies for third‑party spend requirements. Serve as category strategy owner, coordinating and signing category strategies. Collaborate with internal procurement functions (Business Partnering, Insights, Analytics, Contracting) to build and implement comprehensive category sourcing, contract, and supplier relationship management that align with business needs. Qualifications University degree, preferably in business or life sciences. 7+ years of multi‑category procurement experience or equivalent in sales or customer‑management leadership. Strong leadership experience within a matrix organization. Deep category knowledge in one or more procurement categories. Proficiency in procurement systems and processes. Experience in the Consulting Services commodity area and related adjacent commodities. Project management skills and analytical thinking. Fluency in English at a business level. Demonstrated curiosity, active listening, willingness to experiment, and commitment to continuous learning. Inclusive, open‑mindled approach, sharing ideas and receptive to feedback. Compensation The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of North Carolina is $112,600 – $209,200, determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors allowed by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This position also qualifies for the company benefits.
