Construction Materials Testing Technician

Materials Testing TechnicianCivil Science is currently seeking a qualified Materials Testing Technician to join our team supporting roadway and transportation construction projects throughout western North Dakota. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and success of our construction materials and roadway projects. This is a seasonal/temporary position based out of our Williston or Dickinson, ND offices.What You'll DoPerform construction materials testing in the field and/or laboratoryInspect and test soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete materialsDocument and communicate test results accuratelySupport roadway and transportation construction projectsWork collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and engineering staffEnsure compliance with project specifications and safety standardsQualificationsPrior experience with construction materials testing in either a field or lab settingAbility to repeatedly lift up to 50 poundsValid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsPreference will be given to candidates with:ACI Level I CertificationHighway testing experience and certifications such as:Soils Field TesterAggregate SamplerAsphalt Pavement InspectorOther related certificationsPrevious experience working on NDDOT projectsWhy Join Civil Science?Ownership in Your Future: At Civil Science, we're proud to be a 100% employee-owned firm.
