Works closely with clinic staff, referring facilities and providers, and hospital departments in management of plan of care. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Requires Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) license Prescriptive authority in the state of Louisiana is required or the application process to obtain must be submitted within 5 business days of hire Requires a minimum of one year of nurse practitioner experience, preferably in urology or women’s health. Responsibilities of Clinic Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to: Conduct comprehensive histories and physical exams for patients with pelvic floor disorders. Collaborate with collaborating physician and the care team to care for patients pre- and post-operatively. Perform in-office procedures such as urodynamic studies as permitted by scope. Monitor patients for treatment side effects, complications, or recurrence. Provide education on diagnoses, treatment options, and symptom management. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ensure care meets clinical protocols, regulatory guidelines, and evidence-based standards.
