Quick Facts Location: Covenant HealthCare, 5400 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent position Shift: Flexible, hospital-based schedule Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed License/Certifications: Medical License in Michigan, Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (or equivalent) Experience: Open to new graduates and experienced candidates Pay & Benefits Compensation: $525,000–$625,000 annually (based on MGMA standards, training, and experience) Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 Additional Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid CME and time off (37 days per contract year) Professional liability coverage Student loan repayment and/or educational stipends Short- and long-term disability, life insurance Licensure and travel reimbursements What You’ll Do Provide full-scope hematology and medical oncology care in a hospital setting Manage approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient cases Treat a diverse patient population with solid tumors and hematologic conditions Collaborate with a team of experienced physicians, MAs, and APPs Support the hospital's comprehensive cancer program, including outpatient infusion therapies and advanced diagnostic services Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and potential academic activities Engage in ongoing quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives What You Need Required: Medical license in Michigan Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (preferred, not required) Preferred: Experience with multidisciplinary oncology teams and cancer center protocols Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate care About the Assignment Located in Saginaw, MI, Covenant HealthCare’s oncology team is part of a high-volume, regional referral center renowned for patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
