Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVOR position requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure and prior CVOR experience.

Details

• Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 0630-1900
• Required to float as a sitter in rotation with other units
• Call requirements include a minimum of 14 days within a 6-week schedule, including 4 weekend days (2 weekends total)

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• CVOR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice
• Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Document care, assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate and communicate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital policy
