Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.28 - $20.50 per hour Hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections Maintain vehicles—keep them clean, scheduled for maintenance, and perform daily inspections before operating Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and money collected at all times Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked and secured at the end of the day Clock in and out according to company policy Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, and handling core returns Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business demands Perform any other duties as assigned SKILLS / EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts Ability to operate other light store equipment Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) Equal Opportunity Employment O’Reilly Auto Parts is an equal opportunity employer.
