Construction Coordinator II

SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide day-to-day construction management support * Prepare daily progress reports * Review technical documents (blueprints, estimates) * Assist with project start-up and closing tasks * Maintain supporting documentation (field books, daily reports, safety logs) * Arrange trucking, order fulfillment, and equipment delivery * Document and recommend process efficiency changes * Perform basic field quality and safety inspections * Document conformance to plans and specifications * Promote Mortenson's safety culture * Track construction progress with photos and record-keeping * Develop spreadsheets and tools for project coordination * Demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge * Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience as a Construction Coordinator I or a Non-scientific or math skills-related college degree (e.g., fine arts, philosophy, business) or a 2-year degree in construction. * Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills * Construction experience preferred * Ability to learn and utilize different types of computer software used in Construction Management to support any aspect of a construction project * Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally * Ability to effectively handle detailed information and meet deadlines * Ability to multitask * Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback * Ability to travel up to 100% A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) * Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage * Dental plan * 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match * Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves * Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance * No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources * Tuition reimbursement * Adoption Assistance * Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is $64,000 MIN - $86,400 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
