Sales Consultant

Position Summary We are seeking an End User Sales Consultant to drive growth and manage customer relationships throughout Central and Northern Wisconsin. In this role, you will use a consultative sales approach to provide security and hardware solutions that meet our clients' unique needs. Working closely with our inside sales team, you will build long-term trust with key decision-makers. This role is ideal for an organized, self-motivated professional who thrives with autonomy. Key Responsibilities Relationship Management: Build deep trust with existing clients and actively prospect to develop new accounts. Field Activity: Schedule and execute face-to-face customer and contractor visits. Consultative Selling: Identify customer pain points and deliver tailored security and hardware solutions. Team Collaboration: Partner with inside sales and vendors to overcome challenges, share market trends, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Performance: Consistently meet or exceed territory sales metrics. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 1–2 years of related sales experience/training, or a Bachelor’s degree. (2+ years in the commercial door and hardware industry is preferred, but not required). Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Field Readiness: Ability to accurately measure building materials, meet onsite with clients, and wear required PPE (hard hat, hi-viz vest, work boots) when visiting job sites. Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a track record of clear written and verbal communication. Pre-Employment: Valid driver’s license, drug screen, background check, and employment verification required.
