Your primary objective will be to source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive relationships to optimize the organization's procurement process. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, manage purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement operations.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery capabilities.Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the organization.Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues or disputes, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and promptly.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and contractual terms.Conduct cost and price analysis to evaluate supplier proposals and determine the most cost-effective purchasing options.Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate pricing to achieve favorable terms.Monitor market trends and fluctuations to assess price impact and make informed purchasing decisions.Work closely with inventory control and demand planning teams to ensure optimal stock levels.Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to track delivery schedules, expedite orders when necessary, and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.Maintain accurate inventory records and update relevant stakeholders on stock availability.Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with legal, quality, and performance requirements.Monitor contract renewals, expiration dates, and terms to manage supplier relationships proactively.Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to resolve contract-related issues and disputes.Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supplier performance.Conduct regular performance reviews and supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and service standards.Collaborate with suppliers to address any performance gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills/Abilities:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred; equivalent systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics strongly considered)Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers.Attention to detail and accuracy in managing purchase orders and contracts.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and contracts.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Proven work experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar procurement role (1-2 years).Sound knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices.Physical Requirements:Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.AAP/EEO StatementOnePointe Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chainStrong organizational and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and prioritiesAttention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeepingMust be able to work full-time on-site in Elgin, TXPreferred Traits:Self-starter with a proactive mindsetCalm under pressure and solution-oriented when facing vendor or delivery issuesStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityFamiliarity with manufacturing, industrial, or construction materials is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr OnePointe Solutions LLC
