Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for rehabilitation patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment strategies to enhance patient recovery.
• Facilitate patient and family education on care plans and post-discharge activities.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams during weekly conferences and daily huddles for patient updates.
• Document patient progress and outcomes utilizing the EPIC charting system.
• Ensure safety and injury prevention during therapeutic exercises and equipment use.

Qualifications

• Current NBCOT certification and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation facility.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system is required.
• Experience with a variety of patient conditions such as CVA, SCI, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to work every other Saturday and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support effective team collaboration and patient care.
