• Setting: Busy emergency department with approximately 50 beds
• EMR: Meditech
• Location: Aurora, Colorado

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience required
• Active RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPCCPI Blue Card required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nurses, EMTs/medics, and providers
• Experience with trauma care and stroke care preferred
• Energetic, adaptable, and patient-centered approach to emergency nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients with varying acuity levels
• Perform assessments, monitor patients, and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
• Support ED procedures, treatment workflows, and fast-paced patient throughput
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, efficient care
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care, manage multiple patients, and maintain patient flow
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
