Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician Location: Ashtabula, OH Shift: 3rd Shift Starting Pay: $25.00-$35.00 an hour based on experience. # Industrial Maintenance Technician Mancan in partnership with an Ashtabula facility is in need of an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. If you're experienced in industrial maintenance and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you! Primary Responsibilities * Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. * Assist senior Maintenance Technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance projects. * Test malfunctioning machinery and identify root causes of equipment failures. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits, relays, motor starters, transformers, PLCs, and heating circuits. * Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Perform basic welding (MIG and Stick) as needed for equipment repairs. * Install and run electrical conduit. * Complete basic plumbing repairs and maintenance. * Communicate effectively with maintenance staff, production personnel, and other departments. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow company procedures. * Adhere to all company safety policies and the Iten Industries Code of Conduct. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required. * Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. * Minimum of 2 years of industrial electrical experience. * Strong knowledge of: * Industrial electrical systems * PLC troubleshooting * Hydraulics and pneumatics * Electrical control circuits * Motor starters, relays, and transformers * Experience with MIG and Stick welding preferred. * Ability to install and run conduit. * Basic plumbing knowledge. * Comfortable working with fiberglass materials. * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
