We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at Jackson Care Center in Jackson, Ohio. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at Jackson Care Center, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others .
Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity
• Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and standard precautions
• Support resident rehabilitation goals by participating in activities and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
• Must be certified as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the state of Ohio
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
