Preschool Age Teacher

Preschool Age Teacher – Sun Prairie, WI GBH Strong Beginnings is looking for a Preschool Age Teacher. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Daily activities for Preschool children 2 years old Assist with indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, projects, games Responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that are developmentally appropriate Daily communication with parents, participate in parent conferences Attend all Family Engagement activities (e.g., parent involvement activities, holiday celebrations, parades, etc.) Maintain proper supervision of children during on‑site and off‑site activities (e.g., walks, field trips, school‑age transportation, etc.) Participating in training and professional development activities Attend all staff meetings Meet State Licensing requirements Classroom orientation for new staff Work together with entire staff as a member on a team to ensure all daily tasks are completed Direct parent problems and concerns appropriately When not responsible for children, make effective use of time Willing to take on new responsibilities Ability to effectively communicate with children, co‑workers, and parents Ability to accept supervision and constructive criticism Dependable and flexible Enthusiastic, positive attitude, creative and self‑motivated Adhere to all licensing regulations and center policies Pay $15-$20 per hour Work Schedule The Preschool Age Program instructional hours run from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Program staff will be available between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a ½ hour lunch break.
