APi Supply Lifts was founded in 1977 and has grown into one of the largest privately owned aerial equipment rental companies in the Midwest with locations in Minneapolis, Rochester, Brainerd and Duluth.

Job Title: CDL Driver Pay: $32+ per hour depending on experience

Job Summary: API Supply Lifts is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and recovering aerial lift equipment to various customer worksites, ensuring safe and efficient transportation. The position involves hauling equipment on flatbed or lowboy trailers across diverse environments, including urban, suburban, and rural areas. The ideal candidate must be capable of driving safely in tight spaces such as construction zones and be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.

This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $32 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include a 401K match, medical (ER / EE) and dental insurance, life insurance provided by ER/New York Life, voluntary policies for additional life, STD, hospital, critical illness, accident, FSA medical, and dependent care. PTO is provided earning 4.62 hours per pay period first 5 years, most safety gear is supplied, and an additional reimbursement of $200 annually is available for extra items not provided.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate flatbed and lowboy trailers to deliver aerial lift equipment to customer sites.
• Recover equipment from worksites and ensure proper loading and securing according to DOT regulations.
• Drive in various conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings.
• Navigate construction zones and tight spaces with precision.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot equipment and vehicle issues at job sites.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and DOT tie-down requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with customers.
• Work primarily from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's license with a Class A CDL and an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Prior experience with towing and operating construction or heavy equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT tie-down regulations required.
• Experience operating SkyJack, JLG, Genie aerial lifts, or similar heavy equipment is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on equipment and vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
