The ideal candidate will be confident working with the veterinary, technician and customer service staff. Be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, and have experience with proper animal handling and restraint. Have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, drawing blood and running bloodwork, be able to use laboratory equipment, understand the importance of client education, be a positive and supportive team player, and strive to continue increasing their knowledge in the veterinary industry while remaining calm in a high‑stress environment.
