General Ledger Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00

Position Overview:
System One is seeking an Senior Accountant to perform a variety of accounting functions under the direction of the Controller. This role supports general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting while working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Execute monthly closing entries and assist with the close process
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Assist in reviewing and improving month-end close procedures
• Review supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support year-end audit activities
• Assist with additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Previous accounting experience preferred
