Kids Orbit After-School Program Counselor
Kids Orbit, an after-school program with locations in Brooklyn, is interviewing for both recess (lunch time) and after-school counselors. These are ideal positions for college students and graduates looking to build their resumes. If you are studying to become a teacher, youth worker, social worker or are a student who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference, this is the job for you!
Our after-school programs are open Monday through Friday. Counselors must be available to work at least three days a week.
After school hours are generally from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, but vary slightly according to school schedules.
Recess schedules also vary according to school schedules, but occur between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Candidates should…
- be at least 17 years old and, at minimum, a senior in high school
- have previous job experience working with school-age children (3.5 - 11 yrs. old.) After school or camp experience is preferred.
- enjoy recreational activities, especially games and sports.
