Exciting Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – Erwin, NC $7,500 Sign On Bonus MainStreet Family Care is growing and we are looking to hire a fast, friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full time. You will provide patient-focused care in an urgent care setting, including primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. This opportunity is ideal for early-career FNPs, including brand new graduates. The role includes on‑site orientation, training shifts with experienced providers, a complimentary pediatric urgent care course, and provider on‑call support. What makes this opportunity unique? Full scope of practice – you can treat patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Leadership role – lead a small team of medical assistants and serve as a professional role model. Support for rural communities – clinics operate 362 days a year to provide needed access to care. Tuition and student loan reimbursement grants are available for qualifying clinics. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues. Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing, and splinting. Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management. Review x‑rays (with over‑read by radiologist when required). Provide general dermatology, eye care, and EKG interpretation. Execute emergency management skills. Offer general gynecologic care. Treat children of all ages. Perform occupational medicine duties. Provide telemedicine services. Schedule MainStreet Clinic Hours – 7 days a week. Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sample schedule: Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF). Qualifications Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required. MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly). DOT certification required or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred. Compensation and Benefits Health, dental, vision and malpractice insurance. Starting sign‑on bonus.
