Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp seeks a full-time phlebotomist float for their Fort Wayne, Indiana location to perform blood collections across multiple sites. The position involves venipuncture, specimen processing, patient data entry, and administrative duties with a flexible Monday-Friday schedule including rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and related analyses
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments from patients
• Travel to additional clinical sites as needed for float coverage

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year or more of phlebotomy experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency (if no work experience)

Compensation: Base rate plus $2.00/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement; eligible for quarterly performance bonus
